Welcome to Forktail Lodge!

We are a new locally owned premier all-inclusive boutique fly fishing lodge on the quiet East End side of Roatan Island in Honduras. We offer luxurious modern accommodations and fine cuisine at our waterfront properties, combined with world-class saltwater flats fishing for Permit, Bonefish and Tarpon. While traditional poling and casting techniques from our custom fly fishing skiffs is always an option, we offer the unique “spot and stalk” method for Permit as well as bonefish. 75 percent of our Permit are hunted by spotting tails or pushes out of the boat, which provides you with a more intimate connection with the black devil. Our Bonefish are plentiful and of good size, averaging 3-4 lbs. and as large as 8 lbs.  Small, 5 to 60-pound Tarpon are available to pursue for anglers who want those heavy takes and spectacular acrobatics.
