Robert started his flyfishing travel hitchhiking through Patagonia, Southern Brazil, and Northern Argentina solo for a year back in 1993 looking for big trout, Robert expanded his travel over the next couple decades to 4 continents searching for untouched waters.  He then fell in love with both Jeny and the Permit of Roatan on a trip in 2015.  Together since, they truly share the love of fishing both on the flats and trolling for Wahoo or small Black Fin Tuna out in front of the lodge.

Jeny has evolved into a stellar guide in her own right, with an impressive ability to spot tailing fish at great distances. Their passion for fishing is only matched by their passion for making the guests holiday experiences as special as possible by going to great lengths to service their needs by turning island fishing dreams into reality.

Welcoming anglers into the Forktail Lodge family is their goal through creating enduring relationships and long-lasting friendships.
